Metric - “Grow up and blow away”
High Highs - Horses
This band is AMAZING.
I need more of this.
my current lullaby.
Travis - Luv
What’s so wrong?
Why the face so long
Is it over?
And where you going that
You no longer belong here?
And distance tells you that
Distance must come between love
Where have you been Luv?
When the mistake we made
Was in never having planned to fall in love, Luv
Singing this song
Singing along
Makes it easier for me to see you go
But in doing so
I’m letting you go
It only serves to show me
That I’m still in love with you
Singing this song
Singing along
Makes it easier for me to see you go
But in doing so
In letting you go
It only serves to show me
That I’m still in love with you
So what’s so wrong?
Why the face?
So long
Are you changing?
And where you been to that
You no longer remember?
And distance tells you that
Distance must come between love
Where have you been Luv?
It’s just the chance we took
Having never planned to fall in love, Luv
Having never planned to fall in love, Luv
Having never planned to fall in love, Luv
Luv
Reading In Bed (live) - Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton
In the middle Emily adds a piece from House Of The Rising Sun by Bob Dylan. If you are a Metric or EH & TSS fan, this bootleg is a MUST to listen to. Beautiful sound quality, it’s from a radio performance.
Simply stunning.

Hayles, if you see this, I don’t think he’s on tumblr—he says he’s on twitter
What!? This is rad.
On another note, it’s crazy to think that the next album we put out will be #4. If there are any songs in this that you didn’t recognize, go check em out on itunes or youtube!
That’s What You Get. For a Pessimist, I’m Pretty Optimistic. Let the Flames Begin. Hallelujah. All We Know. Miracle. Misery Business. Crushcrushcrush. We are Broken. Fences. Born for This. Decode. When It Rains. Pressure. Emergency. Franklin. Whoa. Brighter. Let This Go. The Only Exception. Conspiracy. My Heart. Careful. Looking Up. Turn It Off. Misguided Ghosts. Brick By Boring Brick. Playing God. Feeling Sorry. Where the Lines Overlap. All I Wanted. Ignorance.
The fact that I can recognise each and every single song scares even myself.

Snow Patrol - ‘Just Say Yes’
Technically she will have to say yes in order for the wedding to happen but whatever.
[04|03|2011 20.04] · 0 notesApril 2nd, 2011 — Day 22 - A song that you listen to when you’re sad
Senses Fail - ‘Lost and Found’
When I am sad I tend to listen to songs that are sad, to make myself sadder (lol masochistic me). This is one of them.
The song reminds me so much of last winter, the cold and the warmth.
[04|03|2011 00.01] · NotesApril 1st, 2011 — Day 21 - A song that you listen to when you’re happy
Muse - ‘Hyper Music’
The song has nothing related to its title. I bounce around to this song when I’m hyper.
[04|01|2011 23.31] · NotesMarch 31st, 2011 — Day 20 - A song that you listen to when you’re angry
My Chemical Romance - ‘Thank You for the Venom’
Depends on who I’m angry at, but if it’s stupid bitches at school, then ‘you’re running after something that you’ll never kill’.
[04|01|2011 23.20] · NotesMarch 30th, 2011 — Day 19 - A song from your favourite album
Douglas Heart - ‘A Question of Gender’
Wait, I don’t have a favourite album.
Oh well, Douglas Heart works.

[04|01|2011 01.52] · NotesMarch 29th, 2011 — Day 18 - A song that you wish you heard on the radio
Paramore - ‘Adore’
I originally wanted to choose Douglas Heart’s ‘When We Become Strangers’, but I was too lazy to upload it.
So I purposely chose a B-side because it will never appear on the radio :. This song is amazing, and together with ‘Just Like Me’, ‘Hello Hello’, ‘Oh Star’ and ‘Stuck on You’ makes the hit list. I don’t know why they are all b-sides, they are just amazing.
[04|01|2011 01.27] · NotesMarch 28th, 2011 — Day 17 - A song that you hear often on the radio
Katy Perry - ‘Firework’
I’m getting sick of this song. I hear it everywhere I go. I guess the fuss that the media made was too big, now all the radio stations put it on the ‘hot’ list. This song along with ‘Born This Way’ are like pop stars’ attempt at being deep. Come on, it’s not coincidental that people release singles that are surprisingly deep after singing about poker faces and kissing girls. Just saying.
[04|01|2011 01.08] · NotesMarch 27th, 2011 — Day 16 - A song that you used to love but now hate
Avril Lavigne - ‘Girlfriend’
I don’t really hate the song, but my interest in this song went down as I grew up. Now the song is pretty childish to me.
[04|01|2011 00.50] · NotesMarch 26th, 2011 — Day 15 - A song that describes you
Muse - ‘Endlessly’
‘Hopelessly, I’ll love you endlessly
And hopelessly, I’ll give you everything
But I won’t give you up
I won’t let you down
And I won’t leave you falling…’
That’s pretty much it. Love, even though hopeless, still allures me.
And when you’re done with this version, go watch the live version.
